Electrical

A study of electro-mechanical controls making up a basic electric AC and gas heating package unit. Component identification and operation will be covered with special emphasis on safety procedures. Basic troubleshooting strategies will also be highlighted.

Installation & Soldering

This course will cover the skills needed to properly read blueprints, install residential and light commercial air conditioning systems and pipe them as required by manufacturing.

Mechanical Systems

This course is designed for Tradesmen to become familiar with and understand the basic refrigeration cycle as it applies to the different components of a system. Basic electricity and controls will be covered. There will also be a review of refrigerant handling as it applies to the CFC certification. Whether you are new to the trade or need some formal review, this class is for you.
